The Rescue 1122 headquarters, which were opened in Karachi on Friday in collaboration with the World Bank, were officially opened by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Syed Murad Ali Shah, speaking at the ceremony, announced that the Rescue 1122 service is already operational in the districts of Karachi, Larkana, Thatta, Sujawal, Qambar-Shahdadkot, and Hyderabad. Starting tomorrow, the service will also be operational in Badin
He claimed that the World Bank’s Sindh Resilience Project had established the emergency service Rescue 1122.
The Chief Minister of Sindh stated that under this service, Karachi city will receive ambulance, fire, urban rescue, and water rescue services.
He said that the rescue service will be started at main roads and highways every after 50 kilometers to ensure provision of immediate services to the people in emergencies in the province.
